Jack Daniels Bicentennial a very special high-strength Jack Daniel’s, bottled to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Tennessee’s statehood in 1996. The bottle is said to be a replica of a decanter designed by Jack Daniel himself for the 100th anniversary of the state in 1896.
Released in 1995 On June 1, 1796, Jack Daniels Bicentennial President George Washington signed a bill that granted statehood to Tennessee, thus making it the 16th State of the Union. Previously, the land that now makes up the state, had been considered part of North Carolina before it was then ceded to the government and known as the Southwest Territory?
In anticipation of Tennessee?s Bicentennial, the Distillery released a replica of the original Centennial bottle in 1995. jack Daniel’s bicentennial Tennessee whiskey 750ml, which included a numbered hang tag, was filled with 96 proof whiskey and sold in a box.
