The GlenAllachie Distillery has gone and bottled up a superbly flavoursome whisky exclusively for the UK! This expression is a 14 year old cask strength single malt, which was initially aged in first and second-fill American oak barrels, before being moved over to Oloroso sherry puncheons for two years. Following that, it was bottled up at 55.4% ABV, and it packs full-bodied flavour profile of chocolatey coffee, candied tropical fruit, and festive spice.

Nose: Ginger, cinnamon, coffee beans, pineapple, and molasses.

Palate: Richly chocolatey, with continued espresso hints. Mango, red apple, a touch of pepper.

Finish: Golden syrup cake, almonds, raisins, ginger again.

    On this occasion ordered the limited edition colour black rum and white rum and both look great with hemp rum bottle. These are only for show but love the colours together
